Hotel website design in 2026: cost, booking and live templates

Updated July 2026: cost, features and the process for all-inclusive hotel website design at 123Website.

Hotel website design in 2026 usually starts at about VND 4.99 million (an all-inclusive template) and goes to VND 10 to 15 million or more for a custom build or a deep booking-engine integration. A template package is handed over in 7 to 15 days.

This article helps the owner of a hotel, homestay or small resort choose a direction, browse the live hotel website templates, and use a local SEO checklist.

Quick summary

  • One property that needs room photos, a reference rate, a booking form and a listing on Google: choose an all-inclusive template, from VND 4.99 million.
  • OTAs still bring volume (online travel agencies such as Booking.com and Agoda). The website helps you rely less on their commission.
  • A real-time engine needs a clear scope before it can be quoted.

Which direction fits a hotel? (four options)

Direction Fits when Drawback Reference cost
OTAs only (Booking.com / Agoda) A new hotel that relies on OTAs High commission, your brand gets lost, hard to sell packages directly OTA commission %
DIY hotel template You have an in-house IT person A channel manager and SEO are easy to do badly Tool fees plus your time
123Website all-inclusive template A brand site, room photos, a booking button, SEO A full booking engine is extra From about VND 4.99 million
Custom + engine A chain, a channel manager, a central reservation system (CRS) Higher cost, a longer project VND 15 to 50 million or more (market rate)

OTAs are a distribution channel. The website carries your brand, sells packages, ranks for “hotel [place]” searches and takes guests from ads.

Keep the OTAs running. They help new guests find you. The website looks after direct bookings, returning guests and corporate guests.

Hotel website design cost in 2026

  • GOLD, about VND 4.99 million: a template with basic customization, one property, the main sections and a contact form.
  • GOLD+, about VND 6.99 million: a template with stronger customization, including two languages if you need them.
  • PLATINUM, about VND 9.99 million: a template with advanced customization.
  • AI PRO and DIAMOND, VND 11.99 to 14.99 million: an AI assistant or a custom design, for a chain that needs to look clearly different.

Pricing follows the real scope of work, not the idea that “a longer page costs more”. The packages are on the website design price list (from about VND 4.99 million). If you want to talk it through, leave your details and we will call you back.

Common add-ons: a page per room type with photos, a booking form (check-in, check-out, number of guests), an English version, a map and nearby places, and OTA links tagged with UTM.

Note: channel manager and booking engine fees are separate software. Split them out when you compare the cost with OTA commission.

Hotel website features: need now, should have, can wait

Must-have

  • Each room type: 4 to 8 photos, occupancy, beds, view, breakfast, a reference rate or “from …/night”.
  • A clear booking button (a form or an engine); address, check-in and check-out times, hotline, Zalo (Vietnam’s most widely used messaging app), and email.
  • Cancellation, children and pet policies, so there is less to dispute later; mobile-first; you can edit descriptions and reference rates yourself in WordPress.

Should-have

  • Honeymoon, team-building, extended-stay and workation packages, each with its own landing page.
  • A genuine destination blog; English if 20% or more of guests are from abroad; a remarketing pixel.

Can wait / custom

  • A full channel manager and CRS, metasearch, and a guest app: once room inventory and day-to-day operations are complicated.

A homestay or villa should talk about the host, the kitchen and the house rules. A hostel should emphasize dorms, private rooms and location. Pick a layout in the template library that is close to your model.

Direct booking, OTAs and local SEO

The website is stronger than an OTA for stay packages, the property’s story, corporate guests and brand SEO. You can place an OTA button next to the direct-booking button for guests who already use OTAs, then use UTM tags to see how many people still leave for an OTA.

A booking form suits a boutique hotel or a villa with few rooms. You need an engine when you sell on several OTAs and have to block overbooking automatically.

Local SEO: a Google Business Profile in the Hotel or Lodging category, real room photos, and one location page of 150 to 300 words on the area and how to get there (do not publish 50 empty district URLs). Reply to reviews on Google and the OTAs consistently.

Kickoff: the logo, room types with reference rates, photos of rooms and facilities (the step that most often holds the project up), policies, OTA links, a hotline, and an English version if you need one. Shoot the photos before you lock the schedule. After 60 to 90 days, measure direct booking requests and how many of them turn into bookings, not only whether “the site looks good”.

Example: hotels with 20 to 40 rooms often use a form and Excel, and update each channel by hand for the first few months. An engine becomes necessary once overbookings start and you sell on 3 or more OTAs.

Hold off on a “website with a full engine included” until the front desk is comfortable with the confirmation process. Corporate and honeymoon packages should have their own landing pages for ads and email. That is where the website most clearly wins commission back from the OTAs.

A dark room photo, or a shot of only a corner of the bed, sends a guest from your site back to the OTA. Shoot the photos first, then refine the SEO copy.

Common questions about hotel website design

How much does hotel website design cost?

123Website template packages start at VND 4.99 million. A custom build with a booking engine costs clearly more, because the software and the room-inventory process sit on top of the design. The all-inclusive design is on the price list. The engine is quoted separately, based on the provider you choose.

Do I need a separate page for “hotel web design”?

No. “Hotel web design” and “hotel website design” are the same request: cost, booking and templates. We keep one article and say “website” so the meaning is clear.

Does it include real-time online booking?

A booking-request form is included in the template package. A real-time engine and a channel manager that syncs the OTAs are a separate software layer (Cloudbeds, Mews, local property management systems, and similar). 123Website builds the brand site and connects an engine once you have chosen a provider. An enterprise engine sits outside the VND 4.99 million package.

If we already sell everything through OTAs, what is the website for?

The site helps you depend less on commission, do brand SEO, sell corporate packages, and receive guests from ads and remarketing. Keep the OTAs. Many hotels use them to fill rooms, and use the website for direct bookings and returning guests. After 60 to 90 days, count how many form requests you get each month.

Property type, handover and SEO

Can a homestay, villa or hostel use a hotel template?

Yes. Choose a layout close to your model (photos of the whole unit, dorms, or a resort). House rules, breakfast and facilities come from you. Under one brand, you do not need five websites for five property types.

How long is handover? Can I edit room rates myself?

A template package takes 7 to 15 days once the photos and copy are in. Missing room photos are a common reason for delay. After handover you can edit descriptions, reference rates and packages yourself in WordPress.

Do I need an English version?

If a meaningful share of guests come from abroad, the main pages should be in English (home, rooms, contact and policies). GOLD+ or PLATINUM fits when you want the two languages done carefully. You do not need the whole blog translated yet.

How do you do “hotel [city]” SEO properly?

A Google Business Profile with photos and the correct name, address and phone; one genuine location page; real stay packages and a real destination blog. Skip the empty district landing pages. That content is thin, and it costs you trust.

If the main job is selling tours or running an agency (a package catalog and an enquiry form), not operating a place to stay, see travel website design in 2026 for the cost, tour booking and live templates.

Many hotels and resorts have a restaurant or bar on site, and a menu-and-table layout is quite different from a room-photo page. See restaurant website design in 2026 (cost, table booking, Maps SEO) if you need a separate site for F&B.

How to get hotel website design right in 2026

  1. An all-inclusive template for one property, or a boutique that needs a brand, room photos and a booking button.
  2. See the hotel templates · the price list.
  3. Run the OTAs and the website together. After launch, work on Maps and real photos.
