Do sites designed by 123Website need to buy SSL separately?
Not required. Every website design package includes SSL at handover. You only need paid SSL when the site has many subdomains (Wildcard) or needs a higher level of business validation (EV).
How do the three paid SSL types differ?
RapidSSL at VND 500,000 covers 1 domain, at a basic trust level. RapidSSL Wildcard at VND 3,100,000 covers unlimited subdomains. Thawte EV SSL at VND 3,400,000 validates the business, at a high trust level, with $1,000,000 insurance.
Do SSL prices include VAT?
No. All SSL prices on this page are for 12 months and exclude VAT.
Can SSL be installed on a site hosted elsewhere?
In most cases, yes. Send us the domain and your current hosting or VPS details, and 123Website will check whether it can be installed before confirming the package.
Once you have SSL, is the website completely safe?
No. SSL encrypts the connection, but it does not replace system security. The site still needs software updates, strong passwords and regular backups.
