How does managed hosting differ from regular hosting?
With regular hosting, you rent website space and handle SSL, backups, security configuration and troubleshooting yourself. With 123Website managed hosting, our technicians handle these: free SSL, daily data backups, weekly full source code backups, security by package and troubleshooting. You focus on content and customers.
Should I choose 5 GB, 10 GB or 20 GB?
For image-heavy websites, storage is often the first limit reached. A company profile site with few images and products can use 5 GB. An online store with a few hundred products should consider 10 GB or more. For many products, articles and images, choose 20 GB for spare capacity. If unsure, send your domain and website description for advice based on actual traffic and storage.
How are backups handled?
Every package includes daily database backups and weekly full source code backups. We schedule these on the hosting; no reminders or extra plugins are needed. Backups are kept separate from the live website. Retention periods and the number of copies are explained at hosting handover. To restore data, message us on Zalo or call 0932 092 002. Our technicians check and restore from a suitable backup.
How do basic and advanced security differ?
Basic security (5 GB, 200 GB bandwidth) includes server-level protection: firewalls, isolation between website accounts and server security updates. Advanced security (10 GB and 20 GB, unlimited bandwidth) adds website-level protection, including blocking unusual traffic, login password attacks and malware checks. Can I move from another hosting provider to 123Website?
Yes. Send your domain, website description and current hosting access. We back up everything, migrate the website, install SSL and check it before pointing your domain and sending instructions. Your site stays on the old hosting during migration to avoid interruption. Migration to 123Website is free. Timing depends on your site's size and structure; our consultant confirms before starting.
What if I need a separate SSL certificate?
