Zalo must approve your Mini App before customers can use it
We prepare the build and Mini App details, then help you submit it for approval. You need a business Zalo OA and must confirm the test version.

Step 1: Have a business Zalo OA
Your Mini App works with a Zalo Official Account. If you do not have one, register at oa.zalo.me first.

Step 2: Create an app on Zalo Developers
We create the app at developers.zalo.me, activate Mini App and link it to your OA.

Step 3: Share the test version
The test version is assigned to internal accounts so you can try it in Zalo and give feedback before submission.

Step 4: Submit for review
We submit the official build with Mini App details and track its approval status in the dashboard.

Step 5: Zalo review
Zalo determines review time. If it requests changes to our work, we make them and resubmit. If you need to supply documents or content, we explain what is required.

Step 6: Release
Customers open the Mini App from your Zalo OA or scan its QR code: open Zalo, tap the QR icon and point the camera at the code.

What is a Zalo Mini App, and how does it differ from Zalo OA?
Zalo OA is your business's official account on Zalo, used to message and publish posts for followers. A Zalo Mini App is a small app running inside Zalo, connected to that OA. Customers can browse products, order, book and earn points without installing another app. You need an OA before creating a Mini App.
How much does Zalo Mini App development cost?
Basic starts at VND 10 million excluding VAT, with interface design, products and shopping, booking, promo codes, loyalty points and basic Zalo notifications. How long until my Mini App is live on Zalo?
There are two stages: our design, development and testing, followed by Zalo's review. Development time depends on the package and features; we specify it when agreeing on scope. Zalo determines review time. To keep things moving, prepare your Zalo OA, logo, content and product images before starting, and confirm the test version promptly.
What do I need to prepare for a Mini App?
You need a business Zalo OA, logo, Mini App name, introductory content, product or service lists and images, and a contact person to test and confirm the test version. Your Zalo OA requires verification with a business registration certificate. Zalo may request further documents during review; we will let you know what to provide. If you have no OA, we guide registration.
Do I need a Mini App if I already have a website?
Your website helps customers find you on Google and learn about your brand. A Mini App lets existing customers order, book, earn points and receive notifications inside Zalo. The channels complement each other. Basic and Advanced include an integrated website; we advise on connecting to your existing site.
Can I update products myself after handover?
Yes. The Mini App has a simple admin system for adding products, banners and promotions yourself. We show you how at handover. For new features or integrations such as CRM, ERP or ZaloPay, contact us for advice and a separate quote.
